I've read the threads on Custom Fields but can't work it all out ...#

I need to capture this detail against a product (the "product" is an event entry for a charity cycle ride)

1 Firstname:

2 Surname:

3 Emergency name :

4 Emergency number :

5 Donation : (drop down with 4 £ value options to add to cart)

The first 4 fields are just text capture that I need to have in the cart details (and thus the database to report on)

I've been trying to work out how the "Custom Fields" work but nothing makes any sense ... in VM 1.x it was all pretty easy (We've been using it for about 5 years!)

Is it possible to do what I'm trying to do please?

In VM2 its equaly simple

Use as custom field type "plugin" and at the bottom select "Text Input"
