Title: Registration fields filled with 0 (zero)?

All fields in the registration form is filled with "0" and I don't know how to fix it. Anyone got a clue?

No idea. Did it suddenly happen?  Those J/VM versions are a bit out of date.

No, it have been like that since I installed VM. I can't upgrade to a newer version because I have made a lot of changes in the layouts (but not on the registration page).

If you made layout changes then you should be using those files as template overrides. Then you can update without affecting them. See  http://docs.virtuemart.net/tutorials/33-templating-layouts.html and  http://www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/overrides 

Joomla 2.5.8 has known security issues.
