We are currently using VM2 & have a similar issue as listed in the below forum topic.

We would like to force shipping address to be entered because there are several other required fields with the Shipping Information. I searched the forums & couldn't find an equivalent change for VM2. Thanks in advance for any help.

I need to do the same thing. Did you ever find a way or can anyone tell me how to require people to fill out the shipping info

Maybe thread about "How to make one of custom field REQUIRED?" could be useful, but I'm not sure.
