Title: Receipt Doesn't Itemize Purchased Items

The Virtuemart generated receipt only lists the invoice and the total price for a purchase. The details are missing. How can the receipt be configured to show all items and costs?

Hi,

this looks like a paypal invoice and You will find that do to changes to paypal - the invoice will not itemize your purchases.

however when you pay - it should trigger an invoice from VM and it will send you an itemized bill of every item.

this is in configuration>checkout > at the bottom.

yes ,

when you actually purchase an item through paypal, If that is your payment option and the payment goes through. And is confirmed by paypal. Then it sends a confirmation back to VM and then VM will send on a detailed invoice to you and the customer. It will not send on an invoice unless it is confirmed by paypal.

Thus you get Paypal's invoice and you get VMs invoice. This with the setting you have set should be right.
Now to really test it and not in a sand box - may be just make an item $1.00 and do a fake purchase and see what you get and then reverse the payment in admin in paypal. That is if you really want.
