I need several product detail layouts, depending on categories (one layout for books, slightly different for software etc.).
I created /components/com_virtuemart/views/productdetails/tmpl/book.php and /components/com_virtuemart/views/productdetails/tmpl/software.php, manualy updated #__virtuemart_products.layout for an item, and it works - that article is displayed using my view.

Problem is - my view are not listed in Product Details Page on Product Information tab, instead No override option is selected so when I edit that product and save changes, layout gets updated to 0.

I guess there is some sort of layout list, but didn't manage to find it :(
