Title: Migration question from a Newbie
Post by: dev2013 on April 10, 2013, 21:33:49 PM
Hi everyone,
I am about to start a shopping cart with Virtuemart. the client already has the MYSQL database of Categories, Sub categories, and products, which has a lot of data in it, and need to be transferred to Virtuemart database.
what's the best way?
is there any ready product to do that?
shall I program it, and fetch and insert record by record? is it do-able?

I would appreciate any advice.
