Hi guys, how can I tag some of my products as "new, reduced, special, promo, etc"? So user should be able to select with checkbox product with selected tag only.

You can use custom fields and a filtering extension for the filtering.
You can check custom filters http://breakdesigns.net/extensions/custom-filters
