We need some assistance with the following (VM2 search module):
We have unticked 'Show uncategorised child products in search results and modules?'. However now when a customer searches for an SKU of a children product this is not found! He must search for the SKU of the parent product instead.
I think this is important for many, what is required is when a customer searches for a child product SKU then the parent to appear, this is the normal behaviour, now nothing is appearing, customer thinks that you simply don't have this SKU in your shop.
Would appreciate your comments!
