I have been reading many threads, and I have to say I am having the most difficult time in getting a solution. How can a e-store work without some kind of functionality that advises the user that they have forgotten something that is a must have for their order, like color, size, gender, etc.
Is there a workaround? Is there a creative way to do this? How can we move forward with a solution?
I saw this question in earlier versions of VM2 when the custom fields had an initial statement- some were blank.
Later custom fields allow us to make sure that the customer must pick a colour or size eg. Give only two options in drop down boxes - or in some of the set fields-
Just wondering if you were talking about text options where you can write next to the field something like :
"Please write the child's Name here" or something close.
The custom fields do have options where you can set them to "cannot be empty"
If they do order and you can see a field blank - them we just email back or call them to say what you want. Maybe the no option box is the best?
