Print Page - number of products per page

Hi,
I use VM2.0.18a over Joomla 2.5.8

I can't understand how to change the default number of products that are shown inside a category (in frontend).
At the moment only 8 products are show for each page. I want to set a higer number.

I tried to change the field
Configuration -> Shopfront -> Max products per view in frontend
but nothing changes in frontend.

What can I do?
