just cannot add to the cart the products. i think its related to jquery. but i just cant identify it.

when adding to cart i see
(Status-Line) HTTP/1.1 406 Not Acceptable
when I check with httpfox

have you tried with a regular joomla template?

i have the same happens in every template. i have done a fresh install of virtuemart also

dou think its to due with server?

Apache 2.2.22
PHP 5.2.17
MySQL 5.1.68-cll
x86_64
linux

just did a new install of joomla 2.5.9 + virtuemart and still the problem remains on default template.

i have spoken to hosting and they say if there is something to be activated in the server end that they can gladly comply

tell your host this is what is returned when you click add to cart
(Status-Line) HTTP/1.1 406 Not Acceptable

cache enabled?
gzip enabled?

have you tried without the modal pop up add to cart?
