Hiya
Joomla 2.5.9 + 2.0.18a , prices do not appear on front page and even though "Products Out of Stock are orderable, no special action" the button says "notify me" and not "add to cart" .
Please please help as its driving me NUTS!!

Hiya
I have now looked at that thread , and changing shopper groups dosent seem to make any difference .
The 'add to cart ' button still shows as 'notify me' the products still have no price .
Could it be a template problem ? or am I just being really really thick here ?

Hey Ross,

Setting the shopper group id to NULL worked for me. Did you try it?

Does your template have any Virtuemart customizations? To know there would be a com_virtuemart folder in your template folder. The location would be something like this - /templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME/html/com_virtuemart. If you do look for /templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE_NAME/html/com_virtuemart/views/productdetails/tmpl/default_showprices.php.

Have you read some of the other threads on this topic? There are several and all contain interesting artifacts for solving this issue.

Have you tested the site using the Beez template? What happens if you add stock to one of the products - does the Notify label go away?
