Hello,
For some reason, when my users register on the website, they get the validation token sent, that's fine. However, the system is AUTOMATICALLY blocking them. Can someone please advise how I can fix this? I am using Virtuemart 2.0.6. I could upgrade but I am not clear on how it will effect the 200+ pieces of inventory in the system so I am hesitant with doing that.
what is your JOOMLA configuration for registration?
do they have to activate?

Yes, they do have to activate. However, when they try to go an activate it, they get messages saying that it has been blocked. When I go to check their registration, I see that they are blocked in the system. When I switch the radio button, they are able to log in. http://www.herpanache.com/beta is the site if you would like to try and replicate it
looks like you have the wrong activation setting.
There is self & admin

Please help me to understand how to change the activation setting because I don't recall going in and changing it :-( Where would I find these settings?
go into your
Jooomla "User Manager"
Then click "Options" right by the save/cancel buttons

It is currently set to "self". Is that not correct?
