Joomla 2.5.9
VM 2.0.18a
I need to have the Control Panel open in the Administrator's area. In previous versions there was a module mod_virtuemart_quickicons;
Is there such module for v2? if so, where do I find it?

The QI module was a third party developed module, not part of VirtueMart 1.1.

For VM2 there is this simple QI module, but for J2.5 there is an good QI module that can be configured to provide your own preferred links - http://www.hyde-design.co.uk/free-joomla-extensions/quick-icons
