VM version: 2.0.18a
I'm trying to edit the text of an order status, but it won't save my markup (HTML).
Is it supposed to be this way? I understand that the message is being sent through email so using HTML can be risky, but this way I cannot even start a new paragraph.
If anyone could answer this for me, I'd be very happy.

I just go to Virtuemart > Configuration > Order Status, then open a status. There in the editor I try to add (for example) a bold word and click save. But after saving the bold is gone.
Right. Most HTML codes are stripped out when saved - ISTR that this was deliberately set that way. To get around this is just a case of editing the order_status_description field in the database. The table is ###_virtuemart_orderstates
