we use VM on e-commerce website, with over 30.000 products and the loading result very low, about 60 seconds, every time, for see products,do you have suggest about it?
It could be better on a dedicate server?

Try to enable the joomla cache plugin and the cache from the joomla's settings
this plugn can help too

Of course the server matters.
If there other sites too (probably there are in a shared server) the server becomes even slower
I think there may be server issues adding to the large number of cetegories/products. Using Firebug net tool, even the contact page which contains no VirtueMart content took 27.4 seconds to load, with the initial GET (before starting to see any content) taking 24 secs.
