when I have a category that spans multiple pages I can use the pagination to jump between the pages but never to jump back to page 1. Does anyone have any suggestions about this? I am no programmer so I am having a little difficulties trouble shooting this error.
I am using VM 2.0.18a and joomla 1.5.25

Maybe a template issue. Please try it without your virtuemart overrides.

thank you for your interest and suggestion. Unfortunately, I am ashamed to say that I have no idea what you are talking about... What is a virtuemart override?
Overrides are used to customize the shop layout. You have a template from Amourhead production. Please ask the designer about this issue. Or you can try to switch to another template in joomla configuration.
Maybe the issue causes on joomla 1.5. Joomla 1.5 is no longer supportet, so you should migrate to Joomla 2.5.
