I updated to 2.0.18a now SEF no longer works getting 404 error, can I reply the update?

I have a similar problem. When I click on my menu item Products (VM) I am taken to http://www.website.com/products.html and I see all my categories, and the left column with the Categorie menu and the mini cart.
When I click on any of the categories I am taken to http://www.website.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart. No more SEF, no product listing, but back to the main page listing all my categories, except now my left column is gone.
No matter what category I click on I continually get taken back to this page. I can no longer view any of the product listings.

I'm running the following:
Joomla 2.5.8
VM 2.0.18a
SEF Settings:
Search Engine Friendly URLs - Yes
Use URL rewriting - Yes
Adds Suffix to URL - Yes
Unicode Aliases - No

I'm also using Joomla's default .htaccess. This is on my localhost for a site in development so I can't provide a link to the site. What am I missing?
