Title: Flat Rate shipping with Pro Ship problem
Post by: steinson on January 29, 2013, 01:22:57 AM
i have completely reinstalled VM and updated to 2.0.18a.
- i've set up flat rate shipping for $5, and the shipping charge shows up completely wrong when i add a tshirt to the cart:

this is the pro ship component that i installed:
http://www.kaizenmediaworks.com/pro-ship-virtuemart-2-0-shipping-plugin-module
i have attached screen shots of my pro ship configuration.

i haven't added sizes and colors yet to keep it simple for now.

please help!

ARE NOT the #s of the rate.

THEY ARE what the MULTIPLIED by the weight of that rate.

So in your first rate of 1-9999 lbs.
The the shipping cost will be

product Weight * 1

so to make the first rates NEVER match anything. You have to change the WEIGHTS so high they will never hit anything.

5000-10000

change them all the same

All you have you do is change the "minimum weight" in all of them

looks like i'm one step closer. now the shipping stays at $5.

each t-shirt costs $20. if i place an order for one t-shirt, the shipping should be $5 (as it is now). if i place an order for two shirts for $40, the shipping should be $10.

i need the shipping to be $5/item.

http://www.kaizenmediaworks.com/pro-ship-virtuemart-2-0-shipping-plugin-module

"OR: If you want to charge a flat $5 for each product. Put "1" in the "quantity over" field, and "5" in the "fee" field."
