Title: two quick questions about prices and number of users
Post by: maxelcat on January 24, 2013, 12:42:19 PM
Hi
I have two quick questions.

Is there a way to add say 10% to all prices across the store in one go - we're looking at selling jewellery and the price of gold goes up and down

I have only used virtuemart for clients with small numbers of users. I have been asked to think about one that will have 3000 odd registered users. I'm assuming that this will be ok (don't see why it shouldn't be just wanted to check)

Many thanks

E

You could use SQL to update prices quickly if you don't mind working directly on the database, or use CSVI to update prices from a spreadsheet master copy. I think I saw someone had a plugin to alter prices en masse too.

3,000 users is not a problem.
