Title: Prices and add to cart button not available to anonymous users

Can anyone help me to find theconfiguration setting or php file that may be set to stop my products prices and the add to cart button been displayed on product description pages. It worked perfectly until the most recent update.
I have several text input custom fields but these all all worked fine until recently. I have firebugged the product page and the add to cart is showing as hidden.
