We are building a new website to sell all around Europe and we noticed there are some countries with no states shown in the dropwdown list.
Anywhere to find SQL to add them?
State code 2 and state code 3 are in theory ISO 3166???, I mean they are official codes or just random abbreviation of the zones?
I know is not really a Virtuemart question but im quite lost.
Found one for France http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=74599.0, but still many european countries with states missing.
And how do people from all these countries add the states? manually? ???
I can add them manually, but what is code 2 and 3 in virtuemart states and where to find them?

I have see the french list SQL, the code 2 and 3 are not ISO and the code2 use numeric values. eg ain > 01, Aisne > 02, ....
I don't know if some countries use iso codes for states ?
I can tell you that living in Belgium, state or provinces are never used in addresses.. just the 4 figure postcode
I assume this is the case in other small countries
