I'm having trouble finding enough documentation on virtumart so hoping i can find the answer here. I want to set up a series of products that don't show the pricing to non registered users, and shows pricing for registered ones. I can't seem to figure it out.
I've created a group called professional user (which will be my registered users) then chosen Enable shoppergroup specific price display. But how do i have no price showing on the public or non registered user view?

Just create one price for your "professional user" (I assume you created a shopper group in VirtueMart) and do not define any other price. This price will only be shown to logged in users which are member of this group. I'm doing the same thing with different groups and prices and it works.

where do I do that?
Just go to:
VirtueMart Administration > Orders & Shoppers > Shopper Groups > New
Here you even can select which types of prices this group can see in the shop.
After that go to Orders & Shoppers > Shoppers. Here you can see all users. Just assign them to the group you have created before.
Then go to your product(s) and create just one price. In the right and top drop-down you can select the shopper group for this price. Only this group will see the price => all not logged in users will not see a price.
