Title: Multiple price -after modifications (bug in 2.0.16)
Post by: goodw on December 26, 2012, 10:39:02 AM
Dear VM support team!
In new 2.0.16 version appear the new possibility to set multiple price for a product. This  is very usefull!
I tried to set, and the first page on product this plugin work, but in the cart after when the buyer want to modify the number of products from to a smaller quantities(whit a regular, expensive price), the price is calculated also on the -large price-, so the buyer can buy one product with the discount price.
How can I set the price, if the buyer change the  quantity in the cart, the price will recalculate again by the quantity? Are ther some descriptions for multiple price settings?I tried to search here in forum, but no results.

Please, help me in this work!I would appreciate if you could help me!
Thank you!
-Sorry for my bad english!-
I wish you Marry Christmas, and Happy New Year!

Sorry to jump in this thread, but my question is sort of relative - Feel free to move it to its own post if you think it needs it guys!

Multiple prices doesnt seem to work for children products
If I set up A Parent / Children product using stockable variant plugin, I dont seem to be able to set multiple prices for the children products.

I want to set my parent as £$0 & the children which are stockable variants need to be as below

child A
purchase 1-2 = $100
purchase 3-5 = £90
purchase 6-10 = $75

child B
purchase 1-2 = $99
purchase 3-5 = £85
purchase 6-10 = $70

Is this possible or also a bug within multiple pricing?

Thanks in advance,
Andy

This should work, I tested it with the dynamic child variant, both systems (stockable plugin and child variant) use the same system, so I am wondering, that you have trouble.

Hi I tried this all afternoon with existing products and new manually built products, but still multiple price in dynamic children is not working for me? :o

Parent & dynamic Child products working fine using stockable variant plugin, when prices only set in parent.
Multibuy prices also works fine when multiple prices are only set up in parent.

As soon as I remove the price from parent & set the multiple prices in the child products (or even just single price in the children).
Then the prices no longer work/show in the front end store.
I have tried this in 2 separate sites both running J2.5.9 , php 5.3.15 and VM2.0.18a.

I added some screenshot of my setup in case its my F*&k up, but I think I got it all correct.
