i'm so happy today as i finally make my first payment plugin. I'll write a tutorial, and i hope i can publish it this week, i'm sure it will helps a lot of new VM2 developers.
But now, i have a question in mind. As far as i learn, payment plugin does create additional table : erx_virtuemart_payment_plg_<pluginname>
Please correct me if i'm wrong, but the moment i assume that the additional table is usefull to track any transaction that happen in payment plugin (just as order histories). Is there any usage beside for tracking ? if yes, what are they ?

I can guarantee this tutorial can help every reader build their first shipment/payment plugin, because this comes from the real life experience for to build virtuemart payment/shipment plugin from scratch...
but enough said, i would like to know about additional table in virtuemart , Is there any usage beside for tracking/reporting ? if yes, what are they ?
