When I change the default currency and click save, after the page refreshes, the currency hasn't changed.
Also, not sure if it's related, but under the Additional information tab, there is no name listed beside Vendor:
it does say admin after Permissions. This admin user is the only Joomla user that i have created, and is in the super user group.
Help?!

the user name - try and update that if in the joomla users menu - and not throught VM first.
The currency ? I think you might try and reinstall the software over the top again. I have tried several times- and my currency changes easily ?
Just for interest if it does not work - create a new or extra super user and then use that user to change currency and also update their user info too. It might just be a small permission issue.
