I am trying to figure out where I edit the style of Virtuemart to increase this font size, make it bold and possibly add a border to make it stand out. Currently it is using my templates CSS style for standard font in an article, which is not ideal.
Can anyone point me to the right place to modify this?
Use Firebug to examine the code and test css corrections. http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=102850.0
Use template overrides if necessary. http://dev.virtuemart.net/projects/virtuemart/wiki/Hints_for_the_use_of_the_template_system

Your awesome! Thanks mate.
I cant see in the CSS sheets where/how controls the position of the $, in this case its after the numerals, where as in Australia we have the $ in front. I have just scrolled through this code using Firebug but cant find this setting.
Do you know where this is controlled?
In VM Configuration / Currencies select your currency from the list and edit the formats.
