Print Page - Child Products - First selection is the first child and not "Please Select"

I can't set the custom fields to show a "Please Select" as the first option. Either I'm not doing it right, or I have a bugged component

Solved my own issue - in case anyone else has this problem you have to go into the parent product, go to "Custom Fields" and under value there is a box labeled "Display parent as option"

Exactly, thanks. We just dont know how else we can provide all 3 different models people would like to use. We are open for ideas.
