Hello.
How can I change the products order in frontend for each category ?

For ex.
- date of storing
- prices
- alphabetical

Whoops. I guess you do not subscribe to security feeds.

Joomla 1.7.3 is not only way out of date, it also has a known critical security vulnerability. As does VirtueMart 2.0.0 (although less critical).

Suggest you backup and update ASAP. Current versions are J2.5.8 and VirtueMart 2.0.16 - which does have product ordering enabled, unlike the older version.

OK Kelvyn, but I have about 30 Joomla websites, and I have no time to to upgrade all these Joomla and Virtuemart, and Jomres, and other extensions ... and I'm not rich enough to pay somebody to do it.

But can you answer to my question, please ?

How can I change the products order in frontend for each category ?

Product ordering per category was introduced in version 2.0.16 and works just fine. See http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=111754

We are now at 2.0.18a which is a security release.
