Is there an option to select products by date in category view?

If no can I edit the code?

I'm using
virtuemart 2.0.14
joomla 2.5.8

Hello,

If you mean sort by date there are two options, creation date and modified date. From the backend go to Configuration-> Product Order Settings and select Default product sort order and select Product Creation Date or Product Modified Date.

I thougt that the problem was solved but when I look another time I saw that the products were sorted down to up. First the oldest products and then the newer but I want first the newer products and than the oldest.

Can anyone help me?

It already is included in 2.0.16 - hitting the sort order button switches from +/- to -/+
