Puma-IT is pleased to release the Realex payments (http://www.realexpayments.com) plugin for VirtueMart 2 & Joomla 2.5.x !
Realex Payments is a leading European online payment gateway, headquartered in Dublin with offices in London and Paris. Established in 2000, they provide a complete online payment solution to over 12,000 clients including Virgin Atlantic, VHI Healthcare, Party stupid card game, Daft.ie, Aer Lingus, AA Insurance.
This plugin uses the re-direct method: a hosted application which allows you to redirect customers from your website to a secure payment environment, where the customer can enter his/her card details to complete the payment.
Once the transaction has been processed, Realex will return the response of the transaction to a dedicated response page on your server, so that VirtueMart can automatically update the order with the details of the transaction.
This plugin has been
successfully tested with Joomla 2.5.7+ and VirtueMart 2.0.10+ (up to Joomla 2.5.8 and VirtueMart 2.0.14)
And it is already running on live environments!
