Title: Tax per Bill overwritten by Shipment Tax
Post by: seagul on November 11, 2012, 10:59:54 AM
Hello,

I have a B2B shop with tax per Bill.
If i add products with a shipment (Paketversand), that costs money, then the shipment tax overwrites the tax per bill amount in cart view. Same Problem with a standard template.
http://www.geodaesie.at/online-shop/warenkorb (http://www.geodaesie.at/online-shop/warenkorb)

Instead of 1,60 € there should be 253,40 €.

If I change payment to "Abholung" (no cost) it works.

any Ideas?
Sigrid

Ok I'll try but you might tell us what taxes you use (calculations) and put up images of the tax and how it is applied. Very difficult to test.

So I have a product cost $40.00
*Shipment tax of 10% for products. (tax per product>10%+)
* I add tax per bill ( tax per Bill >10%+)

add the product  to my cart > it adds 10% to the product for shipping and then calculates 10% of that total to make the cost $48.40 .
Looks right to me _ version 2.0.13a

If I have the wrong idea then please post - exactly what you did.

so I have general tax rule with VAT 20% for products.

Then I have Shipment cost
Paket for 8 Euro (excl. VAT) --> 9,60 Euro (incl. VAT).

When the Paket Shipment is applied the VAT amount of the products is missing.
Hm, difficult to describe.

THANKS.

Ok - it is difficult to follow.

You have one tax 20 % vat
You then just charge $8.00 for shipping

or
You have one tax 20 % vat
are you then adding 20% tax to product for shipping and adding $8.00.

I think you are trying too hard to add taxes.

let me know - which it might be

Hm, I thought this is a generall B2B setup.

I have one general VAT for all Products with 20% (tax per bill).
Here would be a sample cart:

1 Product 120,- Euro (without Tax)
1 Product 80,- Euro (without Tax)
---------------------------------------------------------------
Sum       200,- Euro (excl. Tax)
Shipping 8 Euro (excl. Tax)
VAT 20%   for 208, - Euro = 41,6 Euro
-----------------------------------------------------------
Sum incl. Tax  249,60

My Setup you can see in the attached pictures above.
The problem is, that the VAT 20% are not correct in my cart:
it shows 1,60 Euro instead of 41,60 Euro.
When I change to a shipment without cost, the VAT-Amount is correct with 40 Euros. When I change back to my shipment for 8 Euros, the VAT Amount is wrong.

I tried it with the standard Beez_2 template and I get the same error.

Does this information help?
Thanks Sigrid

The shop is online:

ok, now for everybody:
I had to setup a second VAT-Calculation rule just for the shipment rate with also 20%.
Now the VAT is shown correctly in the Cart.

Thanks for your help!!!
