I built a site using the latest versions of Joomla and Virtuemart. I had to create a duplicate of the site because I needed a Spanish and an English version. When I migrated the sites, the English version is working fine: http://ilbtv.com/getstarted/english/index.php/start-your-1-month-free-trial
But for some reason, when I go to the Spanish version: http://ilbtv.com/getstarted/index.php/empezar-su-mes-gratis - and I click add to cart, I get an error "There are no products in your cart". Is there a live URL setting that's causing this?
Hello,
You could backup and restore your site using akeeba backup free version. btw, vm is multilingual, why you are creating 2 sites for that?
Regards
Why was this moved to language translations? It's not a translation issue, it's an issue with products showing up in the cart!?
ok, moved again ... jekinhill maybe read it fast ...

If I used the multi-lingual option, would it be easy to setup for just Virtuemart, without it trying to translate the rest of the site?
hmm, not sure about that... i think no, but as i see you have 1 product only, but 2 eshops. You could use the translation only for vm. But any way, you site isn't translated already?

The translations are done, but only the English shopping cart is working properly. When I go to add the product to the cart in the Spanish version, it brings me to the cart, but I don't see that there's a product. When I click "submit order" it displays an error that says "There are no products in your cart".
I am not sure for that. I think you haven't translate them properly (?). Can you verify that?

THE ISSUE IS NOT THE TRANSLATION.
THE ISSUE IS THAT WHEN YOU ADD A PRODUCT TO THE SPANISH CART, IT DOES NOT SHOW THE PRODUCT ADDED.
Hello,
I don't know. I cannot help you on that. May be someone else can.
