Title: Layout Problem in Internet Explore. PLEASE HELP!!!
Post by: jimmyjames111 on October 24, 2012, 22:25:08 PM
Layout doesn't look right in Internet Explorer.

I am not the strongest designer and am having issues with the layout of some VirtueMart pages when viewed in IE.  They look great on all other browsers   I'm using Joomla 1.5 and the website is at www.TheTrendyHippo.com.

Basically the frontpage and category views don't line up..  I thought I might have made a mistake in spacing on my template but could not seem to find the error.  Then I thought I might need to create more space somewhere in the VirtueMart views, but could not figure it out.

Could someone please help?

Thanks,
James

you dont create more space

just add conditional stylesheets

and change

width25   to width25{width:24%;} etc

weird its doing that in the modern IE though

7 & 6 is expected

I helped out someone (a non-VM USER) with a similar but not identical issue in IE9 and  with a Joomlashine template. Was resolved by migrating to Joomla 2.5 and updating the template to suit.
