First of all, congratulations for such a fantastic eCommerce system, I'm very amazed!
I'm trying to migrate the old site of my company (that was developed long ago) to Joomla, and thinking in VirtueMart for the products, but there is a functionality the old site has that I couldn't find here, is about obsolete or hidden products.
An outdated/hidden product shouldn't appear in any of the lists (navigating the categories, searching, in the related products, ...) but it's link should be available so that old references in news or in other websites keep accessing to the content. It should be like the private videos in YouTube, you can only access if you know the link.
Does anybody have an idea about how can I cover this?
I suppose I'll have to modify the code, any suggestion about where to start?
