Title: Added product to cart but final price is double?
Post by: deebd on October 23, 2012, 01:38:36 AM
Running Vm 2.0.4 JM 2.5.7 I'm testing the cart before I go live and added one product to it price is correct and displyas properly, however the final price is displaying just less than double the actual price? Does anyone know what may be causing this and how to fix it? Screenshot attached

Hello,

Your vm version is too old! Please consider first to upgrade to v2.0.12f. If you have template overrides track the changes here:

I am extremely hesitant in doing this, as I do not know enough about VM or even how to back  it up before upgrading? This template purchase was not an easy solution for me, and my site has not even gone live yet. I don't know where to begin to do the upgrade and, I am quite frankly afraid of doing so, with fear of losing everything I just spent a month working on.

Is there no answer or fix to my issue without doing the upgrade?

Thanks in advance,
Dee

You priroty has to be to make a backup ASAP - you really should have been doing this routinely while developing your site. For all Joomla sites I work on I backup at least once each day.

Go to https://www.akeebabackup.com/  and download Akeeba Backup which is installed as a Joomla component. There is full documentation to provide help:   https://www.akeebabackup.com/documentation/akeeba-backup-documentation.html
