If I try to delete a single product from the shopping cart no problem, but if this products has an attribute (custom field) it is impossible to remove it from the cart. Nothing happens, no error, nothing.
The only thing I can do is set the value to 0 and click 'update'. But the ' remove' button doesn't work with these kind of products.

However, I have the same problem as you have.
If I add an extra field of the "Cart option" type (the one that can only add an additional price, eg. +25$, no page reloading), the product can't be removed from the cart. I click onto the remove product icon which leads to a link like this ( /cart/delete?cart_virtuemart_product_id=39::74:23 ), nothing happens except the message of "The product has been removed from the cart". The product used to disappear, but the price was still there and after refreshing the page or going to another page, it was back in the cart.
Other products (where remove icon leads to a link like /cart/delete?cart_virtuemart_product_id=39 work normally) - the products that don't have the "cart option" extra field.
I'm using the latest VM (2.0.22c right now) and latest Joomla (2.5.14).
Thanks for any help, I though it might be a JS conflict maybe, but it's not - I tried to remove every JS I could, but it didn't help.
