Title: V 2.0.12 problems
Post by: drizzt99 on October 17, 2012, 15:33:34 PM
Hi,
I got these issues suddenly.
I upgraded Joomla to 2.5.7 and VM to 2.0.12.
2 problems arised:
1) When I enter products categories/details as a guest, it asks for login.  It used to work until the upgrade...
2) In backend, it suddenly added "undefined" tabs above the tabs inside items (e.g. when I enter to edit a category or product or even the settings).
Any idea why and how to solve it?
here's the link to the shop: http://gollydesign.co.il/products.html
try to click on one of the categories and see you need to login... it shouldn't be this way.
Thanks,
Yonatan

What did you upgrade from?

Have no idea... I think something like 2.0.3 or something like that.
But actually, the problem appeared when I upgraded Joomla from 2.5.6 to 2.5.7.
I thought that upgrading VM would solve it, but no...

The login issue sounds possibly like a Joomla problem, maybe something went wrong with the upgrade, but check that modules etc are available to unregistered users.

The undefined tabs are removed by refreshing the browser & maybe clearing the J2.5 cache.

Output changes with the VM updates are listed in the live update information - view on http://virtuemart.net/index.php?option=com_content&id=416

Hi,
Thanks.
The only issue is the login, which happens only in VM pages.
All are set to public, so have no idea what's wrong.
Any idea how to solve this?

Hello,

Have you publish vm menu items under registered or public?
