In VM 2.0.12b, Configuration, Shopfront, Action when a Product is Out of Stock, if you select Products Out of Stock are orderable, and the field 'Availability' below is displayed, for example On Order, it doesn`t work.
Still showing the Product Status Availability from product
I made a few more tests and had the conclusion that this only work if the the field (Product, Product Status, Availability) is empty.
I believe that this should be match more interesting, if we could have this (Configuration, Shopfront, Action when a Product is Out of Stock) on the product (Product, Product Status).
Example:
Reference > product availability > Action when a Product is Out of Stock
Product A > In stock > 2-3 days
Product B > In stock > On order
Product C > In stock > Discontinued
Product X,Y,Z > from null to you text > from "Do not Display Product" to wherever your option is.
It allow you to have the possibility to show product availability "In Stoct" and when the product quantity becomes to zero, show one of the options of the "Action when a Product is Out of Stock" not by default, but by product.
If we could have a date on it, it would be also interesting.
