Hi people, right basically i am starting my own Buy, sell & trade business - online.
Now virtuemart allows customers to buy from you, is there any way to send money to them?
For example a customer wishes to sell me a xbox 360 for say £40.00, now they add that to the cart, checkout and then instead of charging the customer is there a way for their account to show as -£40.00 so once i receive the xbox and i check it over i then send them £40.00
There is a few websites such as Cex.co.uk which do the same thing, you add the item to cart, checkout and then you send it to them with the order number on and then they either send you money in bank, paypal or a coupon to be used online for trade items.

Like this site - http://www.recyclebee.co.uk/ - although that was made using the old 1.1 version of VirtueMart the same thing can be done with VirtueMart 2
How can it be done please? I have searched in my settings and cant see any settings.
I am looking for both buy and sell settings you see.

You can do both together on the same site by using eg separate categories for selling and buying and using different template overrides for those cats, removing all price & add to cart elements for buying, and add a link to a form for the customer to submit with details of what they are selling. For the "normal" shop section you leave prices & add to cart intact. You just have to apply some thought to it.

Thanks for the reply, seems rather hard, would be great if there was a option in Virtuemart to change from selling to buying for businesses like myself who buy and sell.

sorry to be a pain but do you have any idea how to do this?
Basically how do i override the template settings for virtuemart, as i dont want to use another template for the buying section, i want the same look through the whole site.
Also i have looked in modules/mod_virtuemart_category/tmpl and if i edit any settings there they happen sitewise, i only need it happening in the selling category

I really badly need info on this please, i would even pay someone to remotely gain access to my website and sort this for me, as our business is buying and selling online and trading so we need some way of sorting this asap.
