Hi I am totally at my wits end here having search high and low for days.
I am trying to display my manufacturers by the manufacturer Category not all of the individual manufacturers (something the same as having the Categories and then child categories (these only display when you first select the parent)?
Sounds simple as wee buns but I am totally at a loss?
Please I am still stumped on this one :'(

I am not sure if i get it right but you could use Custom Filters for Virtuemart. The free version support categories and manufactures (as filters). Take a look on the web site: http://breakdesigns.net/extensions/custom-filters

I am having this problem as well.
Ive created some manufacturer categories...
example , Wine, Alcohol..
but there doesnt seem to be any way for me to display these categories... the only one available is the Default Manufacturer Category
