How does one sort the custom field drop down list in the fronend....right now it's a mess.

Items i have created as child products are numbered...ie 1. 2. 3. 4. etc. but when customer sees it in the frontend it's all messed up.

Please reply - i need help

My Virtuemart is 2.0.10
