And note the information on the Joomla 3 download page:

Joomla 2.5 is the recommended version for most users. It focuses on stability and will be supported into 2014
Joomla 3 is recommended for more experienced users and developers

I know it is not recommended. However when does virtue mart plan to have a release for 3.0???

Does anyone have the answer to this? I'm going to migrate a site from 1.5 to the most up-to-date version of Joomla, which is currently 3.0. But I can't do that without a working version of Virtuemart. This is a huge amount of work so I don't want to have to go through this again for quite a while.

Any answer to this question? I've searched everywhere - well at least everywhere I can - and haven't yet found an answer.
So, when will VirtueMart support Joomla 3.0?
