Hello, what is the best way to do it if i want to charge the shipment by cost, for example:
9$ Euros the shipment for order less than 100$
and
Free for orders of more than 100$
Thank you
Hello,
Edit your shipment method and inside configuration tab you will see Shipment Cost, Package Fee and Minimum Amount for Free Shipment. So you will place 9$, 0 and 100$.
Take a look at the screenshot. The above example is for the VM Standart shipment extension coming with VM.
PS: Just remind you telling latest version does not mean you have the last one, so next time please write your VM version, joomla version and PHP version.

I guess I'm doing something wrong then because I've set up my 'Flat Rate' shipping method and it doesn't display on the front end. :)
J2.5, V2.0.12f
See Attachments.
What I'm trying to accomplish:
Set up a flat rate shipping amount of $5.00 to post automatically on checkout (I don't really need customers to select a shipping rate considering there is only one: which brings up my next question)
Shipping will be done in the United States
There is no minimum or maximum of products or amount--thus the flat rate.
Next question:
I've tried disabling the select shipment and select payment method, but the buttons are still present on the frontend. For example, I've checked 'Enable Automatic Selected Shipment?' and 'Enable Automatic Selected Payment?' in the back-end but to no avail.
Thank you for your time.

if the shipment method is assigned to the UNITED states, it will not show up until the billing address is filled in
Thank you, PRO, but after removing the 'United States' the shipping method still does not display.
That's exactly why I made my plugin. It's the "zip range"
You can try ,my plugin
http://www.kaizenmediaworks.com/pro-ship-virtuemart-2-0-shipping-plugin-module
BUT!!!
Use the "Else Cost"
for the 9 euros
and the minimum for free shipping for after that
BUT!!!
ALL other fields have to be filled in.
SO, Fill in the "minimum and maximum" weights in the other fields, so high somebody will never reach them.
Any way of charging 1 price for shipping no matter on qty?

yes, did you look at the parameters in the "weight countries" plugin?
Hey, PRO:
I set up the plugin and filled all of the fields in. Basically, it doesn't matter how much the user purchases, the flat-rate fee is the same. Unfortunately, during checkout, I still get the 'Select Shipment' button displayed (and the has not registered). I have the 'Auto Select...' checked in the backend.
Now if you click on that 'Select Shipment' I get an error message "We Are Sorry. No Shipment Method..." and so on.
It just gets more confusing as I go along trying to get this project finished.
