I was making changes in the back end, and I was optimizing page rendering etc.....all products are still in place, and all catagories are still in database tables. Only issue is when in admin and I click product catagories......nothing is listed!!!
How do I fix this? I have english set as my config > config > shop languages as english.
Over course I'm getting error 500's because the catagories are all missing.
Please help me figure out how to fix this.
I've tried the update tables if necessary, but that didn't do anything.
I'm very frustrated......how do I fix this?

I don't want to have to reimport it all again, it took forever.......

Ok I was able to repair it by phpmyadmin my dropping all the _virtuemart_category_categories tables and reinserting them from my snapshot database backup.
All the values are working now.
So for those of you with issues after you mess around with your site............MAKE A BACKUP of your SQL database so you can restore sections when you screw it up!.....:)
