I installed the latest version of VM on J 2.5 - everything fine so far.
But unfortunately there are no ADD TO CART-buttons visible at all.

I see they are speaking about some lines being commented out
maybe not your answer you are looking for but 1700 people have looked and your answer might be to change your templete for 10 minutes to the standard template or VM2 - normal one. If this works then your template is the issue.
I have a similar issue. I tried changing the templates but it's still missing. Most current VM 2.18a, J 2.5.8 and a new RocketTheme template.
I tried running the ACL Manager - no love...
