I am using virtue mart just for showing the product , how can i inactive the shopping and remove the Add to basket button from all over the website?

If you dont want to use VM with cart functions then you should use it as a product catalogue
You can enable than function from the BE. Configuration --> Shop --> Use only as catalogue (select that)
