Title: virtuemart/joomla or oscommerce

Hi

I am going to create a catalogue site. I am quite experienced with joomla and have used virtuemart a couple of times.

What i want to know is would I be better off doing it in oscommerce or joomla/virtue mart. I suppose to some extent its a personal perference issue but I'd welcome any thoughts anyone might want to share.

Of course the answer you ll get in this forum is to use Virtuemart.

In my personal opinion there won't be much difference between the 2 extensions for creating a catalogue.

Yes, I know that most users will be biased on here!!!

But I was hopeing that someone might be able to tell me WHY - that's the thing.

Joomla is way more powerful than any shopping cart software, you can add TONS of extras with it, and not just the catalogue
