I've been trying to create a simple dropdown on my product page where users can choose one of several colours.
Should be simple enough by following the guidelines: http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=90833.0 and the pdf http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=90833.0;attach=47326
But I'm having a problem displaying the dropdown...
When I set the "Cart Attribute" to No, I get some text output.
But when i set the "Cart Attribute" to Yes, there is no output on the product page at all.
The site is running as Catalogue only.
I've tried a different template, but it's not working there either...
I'm on Joomla 2.5.6 and VM 2.0.8e
Hi since variants are tied to costs - then you will find at catalugue level you will not be able to set variants. They will not appear.
May be what you need is use the Description field and set up Examples there.
