Thanks. That is three good options. The last one though is a re-occurring fee. I want one that allows me to upload xls's whenever I like it. So maybe option one or two is the best.
Are these tools capable of handling updates, I.e. keeping everything that did not change and just update e.g. the pricing, product description or whatever?
Technically I would love to see someone linking an excel table to the SQL source which AFAIK is easily possible. However I did see nobody ever suggesting or trying such approch.
I also found a promising tool called Virtuemart Storemanager which seems to make the management of products an ease but unfortunately it is not yet available for 2.0 :-(
